A few weeks ago we went down to Reading for the day to visit some family and friends. The wife is from down that way so we quite often take a day trip down there. On this occasion we decided to meet our friends at a fair that was happening in prospect park - Carters Steam Fair
I went armed with the Leica M-A and the 50mm Zeiss ZM Sonnar. I shot a roll of Fuji 400h, though I slightly regret not shooting Portra 400 for how much more vivid the colours would have been, there is something nice about how the colours have come out I think. Processed and scanned by AG as is now usual.
The chap above was a magician, he was fairly entertaining to be fair - though I am not entirely sure that Connie knew what to make of him.
She liked this little train though
The steam engine on the carousel was pretty impressive.
As was this one...
They had an old arcade too
A fun day out, but if you want to go on more than one ride as a family, make sure you take about £30!
If you are waiting for my Zeiss ZM Sonnar Review, it is coming soon! Sign up to the email subscription below if you want it to land in your inbox when I publish it.
Cheers for reading
