Turquoise is now available within Lomography’s Simple Use Reloadable Film Camera series. Complete with flash and gels in addition to the topsy-turvy colors of LomoChrome Turquoise, this lightweight pre-loaded camera will get photographers unusual and interesting results.
Lomography’s Simple Use Reloadable Camera series has been around since 2017. The cameras are available pre-loaded with the options of LomoChrome Metropolis, Purple, Black and White, and Color Negative 35mm film. Now the family adds one more member, LomoChrome Turquoise!
Available from the company’s online store for 22.90 GBP, the product comes pre-loaded with LomoChrome Turquoise film and one AA battery. This means it is ready to shoot out of the box!
There are three flash gels that come attached to the camera in the colors yellow, blue, and magenta. Using these with the experimental film will make things even wilder. After firing once, the flash takes 15 seconds to recharge and is activated by pressing and holding the flash button.
The camera measures (in mm) 115 × 60 × 33. Shutter speed and aperture are fixed at 1/120 second and F9, respectively. The focus on the 31mm lens is fixed from 1m to infinity.
The reloadable series resembles the disposable camera style that was popularized in the 80s and well-loved in the 90s. These cameras can be reloaded unlimited times, thus reducing waste.
Simple by name, simple by nature – this preloaded, pocket-sized camera will inspire the wildest adventures and add intrigue to the everyday. – Lomography
