NEWS: Ilford Photo Celebrating 145 years History with Limited Edition Retro Packaging

By Hamish Gill

Running a branding company as I do, I find this sort of thing very cool. Ilford photo will be selling some of their film range in these limited edition 1950s inspired boxes.

In 1879, Ilford, formally ‘Britannia Works Company’ (who knew…?) set out to produce black and white film. 145 years later, the company is still going strong, manufacturing black & white films, papers and chemicals from their site in Cheshire. This limited edition release is a celebration of that success.

The retro packaging will be made for their HP5+ and FP4+ films in both 35mm and 120 formats and is based on the colours and style of HP3 and FP3 packaging.

This limited-edition retro packaging will be available over the coming weeks in all good stockists globally and while stocks last.
